Your study stays on your device

Searches, bookmarks, reading position and language choice are stored locally. The app has no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not send your reading activity to Jaramillo Music Lab.

Purchases and activation

To deliver and manage your purchase, Jaramillo Music Lab stores your purchase email, payment reference and status, encrypted license key, and activation records. Activation sends your email, key, a random installation identifier hashed on the device, and the device make and model. This identifier is not an IMEI, advertising ID, contact, location or phone number.

The activated app works offline. When internet is available it periodically verifies license status, at most once per day. Revoked licenses or released devices may need activation again. A connection failure does not erase a valid saved license. Activation credentials are protected with Android Keystore and excluded from app backup.

Services and permissions

Wompi processes payments; card and banking details are entered on Wompi. Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores purchase and activation records and private downloads, and Resend delivers purchase emails. These services may process ordinary connection and security logs. The license service uses temporary hashed identifiers to limit abusive requests.

The app requests internet access only. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, notification or shared-storage permissions. Android may separately ask you to allow your browser to install the APK.

Retention and your choices

Purchase and license records are retained to provide your license, support and the purchase records required for the business. You can release devices on the download page and remove local reading data by uninstalling the app. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal data; deleting the license record may prevent future activation, and some transaction records may need to be retained.
